Cheats
Locate the shortcut to the game and add -devuser to the command line or target line. Start the game and while playing, press the TILDE key to activate the console.
help ... lists all codes
god ... player invulnerability toggle
ammo ... player gets maximum ammo
gun ... gun model is toggled on and off
hud ... HUD is toggled on and off
speed <#> ... player/game speed accelerated by # (default is 1)
evileye ... bug entities die instantly when crosshair is placed over them
banzai ... code effect combination of god, evileye, and speed 3
Cheat: Extras Hack
Note: This changes a critical game file. Back up your profile before you do, or not. We don't care.
Locate the profile you want to edit in the directory ... \My Documents\Empire Interactive\SST\Profiles\ and open it with a text editor like Notepad or EDIT.com. Locate the text string UnlockedItemIDs: and replace the number set between the brackets with the following:

Save the profile file and loading up the profile will have all the extras unlocked. This is mostly to see the technical files on the weapons and enemies.
Hack: Unlock All Time Attack Levels
Note: This edits critical game files, so back up the originals before you mistakenly alter your FAT.
Open the profile folder of your Starship Trooper game directory \...\Empire Interactive\SST\profiles\...\ and locate the Profile file you wish to edit. Open that file using a text editor such as Notepad and locate the text string of the level you want available in Time Attack and set it equal to the number 1. An example:

After making these changes, save the file with the original extension and it should work. Note that in Time Attack mode, after the timer is over 30:00:00 you will start losing points but not kills.
Hint: Royal Guard/X-Bug Weakness
The Royal Guard bug and the X-Bug both have similar weaknesses in that they are invincible everywhere except for their red eyes. For the Royal Guard bug, simply shooting out both eyes is just enough to expose the vulnerable nerve stem for your weapons to kill it.
The X-Bug makes this harder by forcing you to shoot the nerve stem to provoke it into rearing up. This exposes its yellow weak spot underneath. You only have two whole seconds to spray it before you have to expend a ton of ammo on the nerve stem to make it rear up once more.
